Melanie Chisholm, the Sporty Spice girl who used to be the ugly tomboy of the band with weird teeth and a slicked back pony-tail has turned out to have the most talent out of all the former Spice Girls. Not only did she launch a hugely successful solo career, but she is now walking the boards in the West-end to rave reviews and has a 10-month-old baby to boot. "When Mrs Johnstone must give up one of her children, I think of ever having to lose Scarlett, and my heart literally bleeds. Being a mother has increased my confidence in a funny way," she says.
