The five former Spice Girls have all moved on from their hit churning years as THAT girl band. But where, you may ask, are they all now? Victoria Beckham, who used to be better known as Posh Spice, has gone through a startling transformation in 15 years. With a little nip here and tuck there and perhaps a few bits of implanted plastic (look at those cheekbones!), she has turned from clueless chubby chav with a bad Essex accent to sleek, uber skinny, uber successful fashion. In fact her fashion line is so successful she had her collection hijacked at knife point at Heathrow Airport! In her latest project, she is on the judging panel for American Idol, she announced; "Having been a performer, I know how difficult it is to be that person standing there being judged. I didn't want to trample on people's dreams." Hmmm.v

Melanie Chisholm, the Sporty Spice girl who used to be the ugly tomboy of the band with weird teeth and a slicked back pony-tail has turned out to have the most talent out of all the former Spice Girls. Not only did she launch a hugely successful solo career, but she is now walking the boards in the West-end to rave reviews and has a 10-month-old baby to boot. "When Mrs Johnstone must give up one of her children, I think of ever having to lose Scarlett, and my heart literally bleeds. Being a mother has increased my confidence in a funny way," she says.

Scary Spice always had an attitude and an enviable set of abs, as well as a very loud mouth, but what gained her the most attention since she left the gaudy girl band is her fling with Hollywood legend Eddy Murphy. Scary now taking up a part judging a very little known US TV series called Dance Your Ass Off, which is yet another take on getting fat people to lose weight, this time by dancing (Only in America!) "Dance has been a big part of my life and a big part of my losing my baby weight," Mel B. said. Oh she must be so proud.

The five former Spice Girls have all moved on from their hit churning years, but where are they all now?
Baby Spice, Emma Bunton was the chubby, cheerful girl in the band, who always seemed to wear pink and seemed the most likely to give up the band and produce babies. Since splitting from the girls, she has done pretty much exactly that. She had a UK number-one hit with What Took You So Long in early 2000 and until recently when she signed on as a judge on Dancing on Ice, the UK TV show which began last week, she seemed to have given up the limelight and settled down happily as a mother to her baby boy Beau Lee Jones. In an eerily similar quote to designer diva Beckham, Baby said of her judging role; "Even though I've been doing it for a long time I get very nervous whenever I perform, but I would say use that energy and put it into your performance."

The flame haired grandmother of the group, this feisty girl from Watford was a good two years older than her fellow girl power group. Known unimaginatively as Ginger Spice, she went from a moderately successful solo career post Spice Girls, to being a successful children's author. From outrageous outfits (remember that Union Jack dress?) and sky-high platforms, this mother of one has embraced florals and pastels with mummsy court heels. When we tried to find anything interesting this Spice Girl had said about her recent career, we came up with a blank. Sorry folks.
